Preview of Carnival XL Cruise Ship as First Steel is Cut

A brand new class of cruise ship and the largest ever for Carnival Cruise Line had its first steel cut at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Turku, Finland. Celebrity Cruises has taken delivery of their newest cruise ship, Celebrity Edge. After four years of planning and almost two years of construction, the Celebrity Edge was officially welcomed to the Celebrity Cruises fleet at the delivery ceremony at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard. MSC Cruises to Build Four Ultra Luxury Cruise Ships

MSC Cruises has announced that they plan to further expand they’re already unbelievable new build schedule with plans to build four Ultra Luxury cruise ships. With these new ships MSC Cruises now has 17 new ships on order to be delivered through 2027. The ships, the first of which will be delivered in Spring 2023, will have gross tonnage of approximately 64,000 GT and will feature 500 staterooms.
