Carnival Horizon Named by Godmother Queen Latifah

Carnival Horizon, the newest cruise ship from Carnival Cruise Line, celebrated the official naming ceremony by the ship’s Godmother, Queen Latifah. Carnival Horizon joins the Carnival Cruise Line Fleet

At the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, Carnival Cruise Line has taken delivery of the 26th ship in their fleet, Carnival Horizon. The 133,500-ton, 3,954-passenger ship will reposition to Barcelona, Spain, where it will depart April 2 on an inaugural 13-day voyage – the first of four sailings from the European port.
