Celebrity Cruises has announced plans to conduct a makeover of every ship in their fleet between 2019 and 2023. The ambitious revitalization project called Celebrity Revolution was inspired by the design and feature elements found on Celebrity Edge and will encompass several areas on each vessel. Royal Caribbean has provided an update on the status of the Caribbean cruise ports included on their ships itineraries. Currently, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Roseau, Dominica and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands are closed. Holland America Line’s Eurodam has broken the record by earning its 12th consecutive perfect score of 100 on the routine twice yearly health inspections conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This latest unannounced inspection was held Sept. 16, 2017, during a turnaround in Seattle at the start of a seven-day Alaska cruise. The perfect score follows soon after ms Zaandam’s June score of 100 on its USPH inspection.
