Thanks for your question. Almost all of the balcony locations are fine on Carnival Mardi Gras. I personally prefer to be up higher and closer to the outdoor spaces, but I also prefer to have a stateroom above me rather than the pool deck or lido restaurant. In my case I wanted an extended mid-ship balcony, so I booked on Deck 14.
