Obviously, one of the best cruise lines for families is Disney Cruise Line. They create a truly unique environment for families to cruise together. Their 4 ships offer character theming like no other and immersive onboard activities and entertainment. While they do have programs and venues for kids of all ages and adults, they do appeal to families with younger children the most.
Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival Cruise Line is definitely one of the most family friendly cruise lines. Their ships have rooms that can accommodate larger groups. They also have an awesome onboard programming and entertainment including a partnership with Hasbro games and Dr. Seuss. Carnival’s newest ships include either WaterWorks with some amazing waterslides and the SkyCourse ropes course. Royal Caribbean has long been a leader in innovation and their appeal to families keep growing.

There is never any shortage of cool and exciting things to do on a Royal Caribbean ship. The newest Oasis class ships have features like ziplines, water parks, and a partnership with DreamWorks studios, featuring characters like Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Penguins of Madagascar and more.

Lastly, we have to mention MSC Cruises. While a relative unknown to the North American cruise market, MSC Cruises delivers a solid family friendly experience and their newest ships departing from the United States are packed with innovations and excitement.
