Any ideas how to make my stateroom more comfortable?

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could make your stateroom feel like your home away from home? With a few easy preparations and maybe an onboard request or two, you can have the comforts of home. Enjoy your own music as you get ready for dinner or before bed by bringing a bluetooth speaker. These small and affordable deices will allow you to stream music from your smart phone. Just keep the volume low enough and don’t use on your balcony as not to disturb your neighbors. If you wish the mattress had your desired firmness, you may be able to request a mattress topper or egg crate to make it more comfortable or even placing an extra comforter under the sheets can work. Set the mood for relaxation with scented electric candles. If you are particular to a brand of toiletries, you’ll want to bring travel sizes of some of your favorite soaps, shampoo and lotions. Unless you book a higher category room, or are sailing on a luxury cruise line, you’ll probably find generic bathroom supplies. Most cruise line have also done away with the small bottles of shampoos and soaps (that mysteriously end up in your luggage) in favor of refillable pumps in the shower.
