The simple answer to this question is yes and no. Some cruise lines allow guests to bring two bottles of wine per stateroom onboard at embarkation. Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess, Celebrity and Disney will not charge you for binging the wine onboard if consumed in your stateroom. If the bottle is brought to the dining room, a corkage fee may apply. Norwegian will allow you to bring as much wine onboard as you like, but you will pay a $15 corkage fee for each bottle before you even get onboard. No cruise lines allow you to bring any hard liquor onboard for consumption. Alcohol purchased in onboard shops or ports of call will be held until the end of the cruise.
